Lamborghini Cars
Founded in 1963 by businessman Ferruccio Lamborghini, Lamborghini cars have since then been notorious with speed demons that not only look fast, but haul serious ass. Ferruccio Lamborghini actually owned a very successful tractor factor before switching his ambitions to exotics. Lamborghini cars originated from the Italian village of Sant'Agata Bolognese, near Bologna, but are now known worldwide.

Ferruccio Lamborghini's decided to manufacture such high-end cars when he went to meet Enzo Ferrari at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy, to complain about the quality of the clutch in his Ferrari 250. Ferrari then told Lamborghini that the problem was not the car, but the driver, which sparked his thirst to create an even more impressive line of cars than Ferraris. He then went back to his factory and dismounted the transmission from his defective Ferrari. Upon doing that, he discovered that Ferrari used the same transmission there were his tractors. Encouraged by the discovery, Ferruccio Lamborghini called upon the talents of Giotto Bizzarrini, Gian Paolo Dallara, and Franco Scaglione, who worked on what Ferruccio envisioned as his grand tourer to rival Ferrari. The result would eventual become the GTV prototype. The following year, Lamborghini would debut the 350GT.
The 1970s oil crisis plagued sales of high performance cars. In 1978, Lamborghini declared bankruptcy. In a surprise move, the company was bought by the Chrysler Corporation in 1987. In January 1994, poor economic circumstances and the political climate at Chrysler forced them to sell Lamborghini to Megatech, an Indonesian investment group. Then in 1998, Lamborghini became a subsidiary of the German car manufacturer Audi AG, which is in turn a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group.
Since its inception, Lamborghini cars have changed over the years, but still remain some of the hottest vehicles to ever hit pavement. The most expensive Lamborghini model so far is its recently released Reventón, which is supper rare. While all Lamborghini models are made in limited productions, the Reventón only saw 20 made. If you want style, class and speed, then a Lamborghini car is just what you need!
