Aeromotive

When converting to a high performance fuel delivery system the Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator is one of the most important pieces of the puzzle. Precise control allows you to optimize your air/fuel ratio for the most power without detonation and engine damage. Aeromotive provides detailed tips on how to use their regulators during tuning so you make the right adjustments in the right order, lock in the results and get maximum wide open throttle power without blowing your engine in the process.

The heart of your upgrade is the fuel pump. The Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump is Aeromotive’s most popular pump. It works with gasoline or E85 and flows 600 pounds of fuel per hour at 45 psi and 13.5 volts or 800 pounds at 8 psi. This pump can deliver enough flow to accommodate the high pressure you are trying to achieve. The A1000 is fully submersible giving you the option of mounting the pump in the tank where it will run quiet and stay cool. Of course, even the best fuel pump can only do its job right if you have installed the right fuel rail. Aeromotive fuel rails ensure the flow characteristics and perfect fit that you need to support your high performance pump.

The A1000 can give you up to 1,100 horsepower in naturally aspirated EFI engines or up to 800 horsepower with forced air induction EFI. It also supports up to 1,300 horsepower in a naturally aspirated, carbureted engine and up to 1,100 horsepower in forced air carbureted applications. Unlike most inlines, Aeromotive’s inline pumps can be used in carbureted engines when combined with a by-pass Aeromotive regulator. Every Aeromotive fuel pump regulator is created with the precise engineering and high quality materials that make Aeromotive aftermarket auto parts a favorite choice of professional racers.
